I had an amazing experience with Dr.Gallagher and her team, the whole experience from the procedure (top surgery) to the post-op care has been fantastic. Dr.Gallagher was able to address any concerns I had with my chest before the procedure and made me feel comfortable the whole way through, and then the attentiveness post-op is all the better.
What is a Clitoris Enlargement Or Enhancement?
Clitoral phimosis is a condition characterized by the inability to retract the clitoral hood fully, leading to over- or underexposure of the clitoral glans (the sensitive tip of the clitoris). It is analogous to the male condition of phimosis, which refers to the tightness or narrowing of the foreskin that covers the head of the penis. In the case of clitoral phimosis, the clitoral hood is either too tight or fused to the clitoral glans, restricting its movement and exposure.
Clitoral phimosis can be present from birth or develop later in life due to various factors such as scarring, inflammation, or congenital abnormalities. It can cause discomfort during sexual activity, difficulty with hygiene, and may contribute to difficulties in experiencing sexual pleasure.
Treatment for clitoral phimosis typically involves conservative measures initially, such as topical corticosteroid creams or gentle stretching exercises. These methods aim to loosen the clitoral hood and improve its retractability. In some cases, when conservative measures are ineffective or the condition significantly impacts a person’s quality of life, surgical intervention may be considered. This is where Dr Gallagher can help.
Not all patients seeking clitoral enhancement have clitoral phimosis.
